Well some of us went to the Poetry Slam in Mesa and WOW was it awesome. Those poets that get up and read what they have written have alot of talent. If you have never been to a poetry slam (which until a couple years ago I had never been too) I would highly recommend it. I will say if bad words or sexual innuendos are an issue for you then you might want to stay away.
Tonight Liz and I were judges (what are they thinking letting us judge). The people putting it on and some of the poets were thrilled when they saw The Phoenix Singles were coming to the event.
